Despite or because of the rainy weather with a tendency for thunderstorms, the heather in the Maasduinen near Well radiates a colorful and bright splash of color. It doesn't always have to be the Lüneburg Heath... sometimes it can also be the Maasduinen/Reindersmeer nature reserve in the Dutch province of Limburg. 26.8.2012 
