Re: Word
(Thomas Schmidt, 08.09.2007 17:19)Hello Christine
Hello,
I have a question. Last night I published a somewhat unusual grill. Now, recently, the word "photo" is highlighted in blue. When you click on it, an advertisement from amazon.de appears for a book order worth nearly 9 euros. Is it possible to remove this? I think this is unfair competition. It concerns image number ID 2271.
Best regards, Christine
This does not only affect the "photo" on your image, also behind "Viewaldstätter See" on one of my images, an Amazon advertisement appears when you just hover the cursor over it, clicking is not even necessary. This seems to be the latest trend in advertising on websites, I have seen something similar elsewhere.
I think we will have to accept that the webmaster has to include all kinds of advertising so that he can afford this fun with the now numerous image pages, ultimately for himself and for us. These small ads also load much faster than those Flash things that were on the pages from time to time (especially on Bahnbilder.de) and were very annoying for a 56K modem user like me.
Best regards,
Thomas
