Re: Reasons for Rejection

(Gisela, Matthias und Jonas Frey, 29.07.2007 12:09)

I have a question. If you take a picture in the mountains and a road runs diagonally through the image and the air is murky after a thunderstorm, is that a reason to reject the image due to alleged tilt and image noise? Especially since some images from the admins show the same characteristics....

This concerns the following image:

It is certainly not a reason for rejection that the road runs diagonally through the image, but the image is really tilted. The horizon, the road surface, the trees, and the guard posts clearly lean to the right.

And I don't know any of my images that show these characteristics, especially regarding the quite strong image noise (sky). Neat Image can help here, by the way. The horizontal alignment of my shot is checked by default and corrected if necessary.

Best regards, Matthias
