dear and sincerely highly esteemed Hans de Rond,
please read through the basic requirements for publishing images once again. These are basically rules that Thomas Wendt introduced. To make it easier for you, I am copying them here.
The photos should:
be sharp and well-exposed,
have a minimum size of 640x480 pixels, and
be considered visually pleasing/useful according to common sense.
have been taken on publicly accessible land
The photos should not:
be obviously over- or underexposed or simply out of focus,
be cropped at unfavorable points,
contain multiple nearly identical motifs,
be considered unaesthetic according to common sense, or
not be your own (this has legal consequences in any case and is economically unwise)
There is nothing here about photographers having to write novels about their images. Even a date stamp is not required, although everyone does it nowadays. Landschaftsfotos.eu has existed since 2007, now with 18,681 images. Year after year, the admins have invented their own rules, which were not publicly stated. Now images are being rejected with the reason: "Insufficient image description, applies to ALL unpublished images."
Greetings to all, I can only agree with André, I have only been here for a few days and already regret having registered here. I originally just wanted to upload images to inform hikers & cyclists, not to please the colleagues here. That newcomers are not welcomed and that administrators do not introduce themselves, I can tolerate, but the constant reprimands over months and years I cannot. For this reason, I finally released the Exif data, which everyone should be able to read. If this turns out to be a kindergarten, I will leave as quickly as I came, regards Reiner
