Dear administrators,
(André Breutel, 19.10.2013 20:35)dear and very much appreciated Hans de Rond,
please read through the basic requirements for publishing images once again. These are basically rules that Thomas Wendt introduced. To make it easier for you, I’m copying them here.
The photos should:
be sharp and well-exposed,
have a minimum size of 640x480 pixels, and
be considered visually pleasing/useful according to common sense.
have been taken on publicly accessible land.
The photos should not:
be obviously over- or underexposed or simply out of focus,
be cropped at unfavorable points,
contain multiple images of a barely changing motif,
be considered unaesthetic according to common sense, or
not be your own work (this has legal consequences in any case and is economically unwise).
There is nothing here that says photographers must also write novels about their images. Even a date indication is not required, although everyone does it nowadays. Landschaftsfotos.eu has existed since 2007, now with 18,681 images. Year after year, the admins have invented their own rules, which were never publicly formulated. Now images are being rejected with the reason: "Insufficient image description, applies to ALL unpublished images."
To explain: this is a series from Creux-du-Van in Switzerland. The introductory photo is described in detail.

For the remaining images in the series, I only wrote "At Creux-du-Van".
What is wrong now?
I have found a counterexample here.

Where is the equality of treatment???
Best regards from Switzerland to Luxembourg
