Floating Hohentwiel. Looking over Lake Constance from Lindau from the stormy rainy weather into the sun-drenched Baden, a closer look reveals the mirage. The Hohentwiel is a floating island, and the Hohenstoffeln is just about to lift off as well. On the far left, the Seerücken in Thurgau also loses its ground contact, as does the Randen north of Schaffhausen, which is more in the haze behind it. If you look very closely, between the Randen and the Hohentwiel, there is no dirt on the horizon; here the Buchberg near Blumberg appears, along whose slope the Sauschwänzlesbahn snakes down to bypass the canton of Schaffhausen.
