The cliff Stevns Klint on the island of Zealand (Denmark) is about 65 to 71 million years old. The cliff consists of four layers: at the bottom is the soft chalk layer, above it a layer of fish clay, then hard limestone, and at the very top traces from the last Ice Age can be found.
