From Bad Dürrnberg down to Hallein, there was this sunset glow.

The same subject again in portrait orientation.

I was only able to take this photo a few minutes earlier in the opposite direction.

From Bad Dürrnberg down to Hallein, there was this sunset glow. Summer 2000

Unfortunately, this does not come across nearly as well in the photo as it did in real life. Almost pitch dark all around, with almost only this afterglow. It was very impressive.
Thank you, Philipp, for your comment.

Best regards, Stefan

Great was the joy on the Baltic Sea beach of Międzyzdroje / Misdroy (PL) when, after a gray day, the evening sun fought its way through the wall of clouds. 🕓 17.9.2025 | 19:04 hrs 
