A strange mushroom is the ink cap - it is virtually consumed by its own juice, while the mushroom spores drip to the ground and thus the mushroom reproduces.

Beautiful picture. I used to often go "mushroom hunting" with my father, and we also collected these shaggy ink caps – of course, only the very young specimens whose caps were still completely white. They are a great addition to a mixed mushroom dish.
