Spindle tree in the home garden near Euskirchen - 11.10.2012

Hello Rolf,
you have photographed the fruits of the spindle tree, albeit with strong magnification.
In reality, they are about the size of a smaller hazelnut; the ornamental shrub on which they grow is found in our gardens and parks.
