This approximately 700-year-old pedunculate oak had a branch
(ID 42117)
On this trunk of a sawed-off tree, bracket fungi are developing and at the very top a new branch with leaves.
The eroded root of a fallen tree in the Ivenacker Oaks.

This approximately 700-year-old pedunculate oak had a branch break off in the 1920s. The remaining stump is said to resemble a horse's head, which I could not discern for the life of me. (Ivenacker Oaks, August 2021)
