Hello Volkmar
a very impressive ice image. Since the ice on the Elbe waterway disrupts ship traffic, efforts are made to break the ice, unlike the remote lake in the Vallée de Joux – the ice images have such contrasting effects.

Hello Volkmar,
this year's winter offers impressive opportunities to demonstrate what cold can move or cause to freeze.
Great photo.

Thank you very much for your kind comments. Unfortunately, regarding the position of the sun, I was on the wrong riverbank, and since I didn't like the colors of the image against the sun, I changed it to black and white. I'm glad if you like it.
Best regards, Volkmar
