In Schierke, you leave the town via the "Sandbrinkstraße" and after some time reach this beautiful spot, where a small bridge crosses the "Kalte Bode." After a while, you arrive at the Dreieckigen Pfahl or the Goetheweg and the railway parallel path that leads to the Brocken. It is well signposted :) The signage of hiking trails in the Harz is very good. At least the ones I have seen so far.
