Beautiful impression of the pristine Saar. This is how the Saar valley looked almost everywhere before it was developed into a shipping channel.

Thank you very much for the comment. In France, south of Sarralbe, the Saar is still quite natural, and the Saar Canal is also very charming in this area.

But you made a small mistake. The wine villages along the Saar are all already located in Rhineland-Palatinate.

The photos were taken during a boat trip, and back then we didn't pay much attention to documenting the location details. We have now moved the photos to the correct category.
